Today, we’re gonna talk about the all-new BMW X7. The reason that this car is so special is, not just because of its humongous grill which could almost fit a person inside, it’s because the X7 is BMW’s first-ever 7-seater, FIRST EVER! BMW has been in the automobile industry for decades but have you ever thought why they never had a 7 seater in their fleet of extraordinary cars? Even though BMW owns a lot of companies like the Rolls Royce and the mini, why haven’t they come up with an SUV? Even though we don’t know the reason, the wait is worth it. BMW decided to finally release their total- banger 7 seater SUV last year back in March. Even though it had a good response in the US and the other countries, BMW was more excited to release it in India. And once they released it, obviously, there were a lot of bookings. At one point BMW wasn’t able to cope up with the orders so they had to extend the delivery period and import cars due to the demand in India.

Talking about the all-new X7, let’s get into the features of the vehicle. Starting with the interior, of course with the extra pair of seats behind the middle row, the car comes with electronic functions to move the middle row seats forward to make space for you to go back to the third row. The third row has its own moon roof, temperature control, cup holders and its own Type-C charging ports. What’s new in this car is it has 5- zone climate control, so your kids won’t fight over the temperature settings. Moving on to the second row, there are two options – you can opt for the standard seats, which comes with three seats, or, you can opt for the captain’s chairs, which comes with two seats in the middle row. You can also opt for rear-seat entertainment. The windows come with electronic blindfolds. Moving on to the front part of the vehicle, the design is so simple yet astonishing. You get ventilated seats and cup holders, which is very new to this segment. You get a digital display and a touch screen in the centre. You can also operate it with gesture controls, which is only available on the BMW models.

There are 2 variants – X7 30D which is the diesel variant and the X7 40i which is the petrol variant. Moving on to the cameras, the X7 has one of the best camera systems into the game. It gives a 3D view of your cars and has sensors all around the vehicle. The engine is a V6 which gives you about 275 horsepower. The vehicle weighs around 2.5 tonnes which is comparatively less. The car also comes with a digital display key which you can get by paying a bit more.

Going to the trunk space, or is pretty decent for such a big SUV. You get split tailgates where you can sit on and have a drink on. It had a feature where you can move the seats according to your luggage in the trunk. You can either have both the third row and the second-row seats down, or just the third-row seats folded.

To conclude, I would most probably prefer the X7 rather than any other SUV and one of the main reasons is its price, it starts around 1.25 crores INR and more if you have specified it. This is a great come back from BMW and it has taken its throne back. Congrats BMW and I would recommend you guys to go order yours now.
